Adobe has released a mobile application for its Firefly generative AI platform, bringing image and video creation tools to iPhone and Android devices. The report comes from Jess Weatherbed at The Verge. The app allows users to generate visual content using text descriptions and includes popular AI editing features like Generative Fill and Generative Expand from Photoshop. Users can access third-party AI models including Google’s Imagen 3 and 4, Veo 2 and 3, plus OpenAI’s image generator. Generated content automatically syncs to Creative Cloud accounts for seamless workflow integration. The mobile tools require Firefly credits, available through Creative Cloud subscriptions or dedicated credit plans. Adobe also expanded its collaborative Firefly Boards platform with new video capabilities and additional partner models including Luma AI’s Ray 2, Ideogram 3.0, and Runway’s Gen-4.
