Adobe is expanding its Firefly generative AI tools with new features for video creation. As reported by Sabrina Ortiz for ZDNet, users can now generate custom sound effects from text descriptions. A unique aspect of this tool allows creators to record their own voice to guide the timing and intensity of the generated audio. Another new beta feature, “Text to Avatar”, turns written scripts into videos led by a lifelike virtual presenter. Users can choose from a library of avatars and customize the background. Adobe also introduced several other enhancements. These include using reference videos to guide a new video’s composition, applying style presets like claymation or anime, and improvements to the AI model for more natural-looking motion.
