The vast majority of global content creators have integrated creative generative AI into their work, according to a new study from Adobe. The company’s inaugural “Creators’ Toolkit Report” found that 86 percent of creators now use these tools, with 76 percent stating it has helped grow their business and personal brand. The global report, which surveyed over 16,000 creators, details how generative AI is now deeply embedded in creative workflows.
According to the findings, creators most commonly use the technology for editing content, generating new assets like images, and for brainstorming ideas. A significant 81 percent said it helps them produce content they otherwise could not have made.
Despite high adoption, the study also highlights key concerns. Nearly 70 percent of creators worry about their content being used to train AI models without permission. The main barriers to using new AI tools are high costs, unreliable output quality, and a lack of transparency about how the models were trained.
Looking to the future, the report shows that 85 percent of creators would use an AI agent that learns their personal creative style. They see potential for AI to automate repetitive tasks but insist on maintaining final creative control.
