New Photoshop AI tools automatically blend objects into photos

Adobe is rolling out new generative AI features for Photoshop, including a tool called “Harmonize” that automatically blends added objects into images. According to a report by The Verge, the Harmonize feature adjusts an object’s color, lighting, and shadows to convincingly match the main photograph. The update also includes an AI tool for upscaling low-resolution images and improves the existing object removal tool for more precise results. These features are being released in beta for Photoshop on desktop and web. Adobe states that manipulated images can be marked with Content Credentials, which provide information about how they were edited. The company’s terms of use also prohibit users from creating unlawful or harmful content.
