Meta is planning to equip its AI chatbot with the voices of famous actors. According to a source familiar with the plans, users will be able to choose between the voices of Judi Dench, Kristen Bell, John Cena and others. The new audio feature will be unveiled this week at Meta’s annual Connect conference, Reuters reports. In addition to the celebrity voices, generic voice options will also be available. The feature will initially launch in the U.S. and other English-speaking markets for Meta’s apps, including Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp. With this move, Meta aims to keep up with companies like OpenAI and Google in the race for AI technologies.
