The chipset features Qualcomm’s second-generation Oryon CPU and is said to usher in a new era of on-device AI. The Snapdragon 8 Elite delivers significant performance improvements across CPU, GPU and NPU, as well as improved efficiency. It also supports advanced camera capabilities and gaming features such as Unreal Engine 5. Leading smartphone manufacturers like Samsung and OnePlus are already planning devices with the new chip.
