Meta’s AI-generated video feed Vibes has attracted approximately 2 million daily active users as of November 9, according to internal documents. Pranav Dixit reports for Business Insider that the feature grew by about 1% from the previous week.
The company launched Vibes in late September within its Meta AI app. Users can create and scroll through AI-generated videos. For comparison, Meta’s Threads app has 150 million daily active users.
India drives most of Vibes’ growth with 704,000 daily users, representing a 22% weekly increase. Brazil follows with 114,000 daily users, up 13%. Europe launched on November 6 and recorded 23,000 daily users, led by France, Italy, and Spain.
Usage patterns differ between user groups. About 52% of returning users prompt the AI to create videos, while only 30% scroll through the feed. New users engage with both features more evenly. The Philippines and Thailand saw declines of 9% and 7% respectively as viral content subsided.
