According to reporter Carl Franzen, the platform now includes Luma Photon, a new image foundation model that enables advanced text-to-image and video generation features. The system serves over 25 million registered users since its June 2024 launch.
The platform offers four subscription tiers ranging from $9.99 to $99.99 monthly, with custom enterprise pricing available. Key features include conversational interfaces for natural language input, multi-image prompting, and the ability to maintain consistent characters across video content from a single reference image. The company’s CEO Amit Jain emphasizes that the system is designed to simplify creative processes for both casual users and professionals in industries like fashion and entertainment.
