Google is expanding the capabilities of its AI-powered note-taking tool NotebookLM. Users can now create summaries of YouTube videos and audio files, and share AI-generated audio discussions. This was reported by Jagmeet Singh for TechCrunch. The application, which was originally designed for educational purposes, is increasingly being used in a professional environment. According to Raiza Martin, product manager at Google Labs, users are now split roughly 50-50 between teachers and students and professionals. NotebookLM now supports new source formats and is available in over 200 countries.
