Google has made its NotebookLM Audio Overviews feature available in more than 50 languages, expanding accessibility globally. Michael Chen and Arielle Fox from Google Labs announced the update in an official post. The feature transforms source materials into podcast-like conversations and now supports languages ranging from Afrikaans to Hindi to Turkish. Users can select their preferred output language in the NotebookLM settings, allowing for multilingual content creation and study materials. This capability helps break down language barriers, making information more accessible to diverse audiences. For example, teachers can share resources in various languages with students, who can then generate insights in their preferred language. The enhancement builds on Google’s earlier expansion of NotebookLM to more than 200 countries.
