Asana, a work management platform, has introduced AI Studio, a new feature for creating AI agents for workflow management. As Alex Hood, Chief Product Officer at Asana, explained to VentureBeat, users can now integrate multiple custom AI agents directly into their workflows without any coding knowledge. The aim is to relieve employees of routine tasks, thereby freeing up more time for important work.
AI Studio is based on Asana’s Work Graph data model and will be offered as a paid add-on. According to Hood, the tool differs from other platforms by focusing on cross-functional work processes. Financial company Morningstar was one of the first customers to successfully use AI Studio to centralize IT project requests. The introduction of AI agents in enterprise software is currently a significant trend, with providers such as Microsoft, Salesforce, and ServiceNow developing similar solutions.
