Salesforce has introduced AgentExchange, a marketplace for AI agents designed to automate business tasks. According to Michael Nuñez of VentureBeat, the platform launches with over 200 partners including Google Cloud, DocuSign, Box, and Workday. Salesforce positions this as the first trusted marketplace for enterprise AI agents, targeting what it estimates as a $6 trillion “digital labor” market. The company’s SVP of product management, Rob Seaman, emphasized that these agents don’t just generate text but take actions within business systems. Early adopters include ZoomInfo, Remarkable, and Mimit Health, who use the technology in Slack to boost productivity. Salesforce has implemented a no-code approach to make AI agent creation accessible to business teams without extensive technical expertise, while incorporating safeguards for sensitive data, particularly in healthcare applications.
