Google is introducing new capabilities to its AI assistant Gemini, allowing users to interact with videos and share their screens in real time. According to Ivan Mehta at TechCrunch, the “Screenshare” feature enables users to show Gemini what’s on their phone screen and ask related questions. For example, shoppers can get recommendations on what clothes would match with items they’re browsing. Additionally, users will be able to ask Gemini questions about videos while recording them. Google announced these features at Mobile World Congress 2025 in Barcelona and plans to roll them out to Gemini Advanced users subscribed to the Google One AI Premium plan on Android later this month.
