YouTube is integrating artificial intelligence into numerous features for creators. The company has announced the integration of Google’s AI video model Veo into YouTube Shorts. This will allow users to generate high-quality backgrounds and short video clips. In addition, a new Inspiration tab in YouTube Studio will offer AI-powered suggestions for video ideas, titles and even scripts.
Other AI innovations include automatic dubbing in more languages and AI-generated thumbnails. YouTube is also expanding its community features, introducing new ways to interact with livestreams, such as Jewels and Gifts. Most of these features will be available to creators by the end of this year or early next year. All AI-generated content will be watermarked to identify it as such.
