Voyage AI wants to make AI in companies more reliable

Voyage AI is developing improved embedding models for more precise AI applications in enterprises. The startup has secured $20 million in funding and is now collaborating with Snowflake to enhance its Cortex AI service. Voyage AI’s multilingual embedding models support 27 languages and aim to significantly improve the quality of Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) systems. Using specialized training methods like contrastive learning, the company claims to achieve higher accuracy than existing solutions. The goal is to reduce AI hallucinations and deliver more reliable results for enterprise applications. Voyage AI already has over 250 customers and plans to double its team size.
