A new AI chatbot platform called Token Monster has launched in alpha, automatically routing user prompts to the most suitable large language models for optimal results. The platform was developed by Matt Shumer, CEO of OthersideAI, as reported by Carl Franzen.
Token Monster integrates seven major AI models including Claude 3.5 Sonnet, GPT-4o, and Google Gemini 2.5 Pro. The system analyzes user inputs and determines which combination of models and tools works best for each specific task. For complex queries, it might use Claude for creativity, OpenAI’s o3 for reasoning, and Perplexity AI for research within a single workflow.
Users pay only for consumed tokens rather than monthly fees. The platform supports file uploads and web extraction while maintaining conversation history. In an unusual move, Shumer has appointed Claude AI as the company’s CEO to test whether artificial intelligence can effectively manage a business.
