Stable Diffusion 3.5 launches on Amazon’s enterprise AI platform

Stability AI has released its latest text-to-image generation model, Stable Diffusion 3.5 Large, on Amazon’s Bedrock service. As reported by Sean Michael Kerner for VentureBeat, this marks AWS as the only public cloud service offering Stability AI’s flagship models. The integration allows enterprises to access multiple AI models through a single unified API, meeting the growing demand for combined AI workflows.

The National Football League and Stride Learning are already utilizing this integration for their specific use cases. The NFL’s “My Cause, My Cleats” program combines Anthropic’s Claude for prompt creation with Stable Diffusion for image generation, while Stride Learning generates up to 1,000 educational images per minute.

Stability AI’s new CEO, Prem Akkaraju, emphasized that the AWS partnership targets professional content creators and developers where they already work. The move comes as Stability AI faces increasing competition from Google, Midjourney, and other providers. AWS executive Baskar Sridharan explained that offering multiple text-to-image models gives customers choice while maintaining consistent API access. The integration also includes security features through Amazon Bedrock’s Guardrails API, ensuring responsible AI implementation for enterprise users.
