Riffusion launches free AI platform for personalized music creation

Riffusion, a San Francisco-based AI startup, has introduced a new free web platform that enables users to create original music through artificial intelligence. According to Michael Nuñez at VentureBeat, the platform’s AI model called Fuzz can generate complete songs from text descriptions, audio clips, or visual prompts. The system learns users’ musical preferences over time to deliver personalized results. Riffusion’s CEO Seth Forsgren emphasizes that the platform aims to make music creation accessible to everyone. The company, which secured $4 million in seed funding in October, distinguishes itself from competitors by offering its services free of charge. Professional musicians, including The Chainsmokers’ Alex Pall who serves on Riffusion’s advisory board, have embraced the technology as a creative tool rather than a replacement for human artists.
