Google Cloud has launched AI Agent Space, a new ecosystem program enabling businesses to develop and deploy AI agents for task automation and process optimization. As reported by Carl Franzen for VentureBeat, this initiative positions Google alongside competitors Microsoft, SAP, and Salesforce in the enterprise AI market. The platform provides partners with development tools, engineering support, and access to Google’s AI technologies. While Google plans to add hundreds of AI agents in coming months, the platform currently offers only 19 distinct agent models, significantly fewer than its competitors. Major companies including Accenture, Deloitte, and PwC are already using Google’s AI agent technology for various enterprise applications, from customer support to healthcare optimization.
