Enterprise adoption has doubled since September 2024, with over two million businesses now using ChatGPT in their daily operations. Major companies like Morgan Stanley, Uber, and T-Mobile have integrated OpenAI’s technology into their workflows for tasks such as report generation and customer service automation.
The company is also expanding its global presence through strategic partnerships. A notable development is the joint venture with SoftBank in Japan, involving a $3 billion annual investment to implement OpenAI’s technology in Japanese enterprises.
OpenAI has made inroads into the public sector, securing its first federal agency customer with USAID. The agency plans to use ChatGPT Enterprise to optimize administrative processes and improve partnership management.
The company’s reasoning model API has seen a fivefold increase in usage since the launch of its o3-mini model, which focuses on logical inference and structured problem-solving capabilities.
