Braintrust evaluates and monitors AI products

Braintrust, a startup specializing in evaluating AI products, has secured $36 million in Series A funding. The company, founded by Ankur Goyal, helps businesses improve the accuracy of their AI tools. According to Forbes contributor Alex Konrad, Braintrust already boasts clients such as Airtable, Brex, Instacart, and Stripe. Braintrust’s software evaluates and monitors the performance of AI products, pinpointing issues when they arise. Goyal claims that using Braintrust can boost the accuracy of AI tools from below 40% to over 80% in just a few weeks. The funding round, led by a16z, values Braintrust at approximately $150 million. The startup offers a software development kit (SDK) and functions designed to assist developers in building AI software.
