Artificial intelligence will fundamentally change the world of work by 2030. Edelman’s Gary Grossman predicts that AI agents will become full-fledged team members in organizations. They will take on complex tasks in areas such as customer service, logistics and project management. Grossman also expects to see the use of digital humans – lifelike AI avatars – in customer interactions.
AI-powered voice and conversational interfaces will also be commonplace by 2030, according to Grossman. In management, AI will support decision-making, while AI-driven simulations and modeling will play a key role in research. Despite these developments, Grossman stresses that human skills such as creativity and emotional intelligence will remain irreplaceable.
