Anthropic has introduced interactive tool integrations for Claude, allowing users to work with business applications directly inside the AI assistant. The feature enables employees to manage tasks in Asana, draft Slack messages, create diagrams in Figma, and build analytics charts in Amplitude without switching browser tabs.
The integrations include nine applications: Amplitude, Asana, Box, Canva, Clay, Figma, Hex, monday.com, and Slack. Users can see real-time previews of their work and make adjustments before publishing. For example, Slack messages can be drafted, formatted, and reviewed within Claude before sending.
The technology builds on the Model Context Protocol, an open standard Anthropic released for connecting tools to AI applications. Sean Strong, Anthropic’s product manager for MCP Apps, told VentureBeat that the extension allows any developer to build interactive interfaces on top of the protocol.
The feature is available to users on Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans at no additional cost beyond their existing subscriptions. Enterprise administrators can control which integrations their organizations can access. Strong confirmed that consent prompts appear before Claude executes actions on behalf of users.
Users can access the interactive integrations through claude.ai/directory on web and desktop platforms.
