OpenAI currently has more than 10 million paying subscribers and 1 million customers for the higher-priced enterprise plan for ChatGPT. This is according to an email that OpenAI COO Brad Lightcap sent to employees, reports The Information. Based on this, the media outlet conservatively estimates that the startup generates $225 million in revenue per month, or about $2.7 billion per year. However, these figures are not official.
