Google has made its Deep Research feature available to all Gemini users for free in over 45 languages, removing the previous Gemini Advanced subscription requirement. As reported by Igor Bonifacic, the tool allows users to generate comprehensive reports on complex topics. The feature now runs on Google’s new Gemini 2.0 Flash Thinking Experimental model, which breaks down problems into intermediate steps for improved research capabilities. According to Google, this enhances all research stages from planning to reporting, creating more detailed and insightful multi-page results. Google was among the first companies to introduce such a feature late last year, ahead of competitors like OpenAI. Additionally, Google announced a new experimental personalization feature that can tailor responses based on users’ Google Search history, with plans to incorporate data from Photos and YouTube in coming months.
