Runway has released Frames, a new text-to-image generation model designed for professional creative work. According to Carl Franzen’s report, the tool is now available through Runway’s subscription plans, starting at $95 monthly. The system offers 19 preset visual styles and allows users to create highly cinematic images with precise stylistic control. CEO Cristóbal Valenzuela emphasizes that Frames targets professionals in editorial, art direction, and production fields. The tool includes safety features like invisible watermarks and content moderation. Users can directly convert generated images into videos using Runway’s other AI models. The company faces an ongoing lawsuit from artists regarding training data copyright issues.
