Runway launches AI filmmaker talent network

Runway, a New York-based AI company, has introduced a new online platform connecting AI filmmakers with potential employers. According to an article by Shubham Sharma for VentureBeat, the network aims to help brands, agencies, and studios find specialized AI video talent.

The platform already features dozens of independent artists and production houses, including members of Runway’s Creative Partner Program who have exclusive access to the company’s latest AI tools. Several notable production companies, such as Tool, Builders Club, and EDGLRD, have joined the network at launch.

While AI video generation has become more accessible, organizations still require skilled professionals who can effectively use these tools to create high-quality content. The platform addresses a growing demand for experts who can integrate AI into creative workflows, from conceptualization to final production.

Runway plans to expand the network through an application process and will soon launch a dedicated job board for AI-related positions. The company reports that the initiative responds to consistent feedback from its user base of “tens of millions” who struggled to find qualified AI video professionals. This development comes as major tech companies like Google and OpenAI continue to advance their video generation capabilities.
