Texas-based startup RapidCanvas has developed an AI agent platform that automates up to 70% of data tasks in artificial intelligence projects. According to Shubham Sharma’s report in VentureBeat, the company recently secured $16 million in Series A funding. The platform combines AI agents with human expertise to handle data engineering and science tasks, from ingestion to modeling. RapidCanvas CEO Rahul Pangam says the system allows enterprises to significantly reduce their reliance on technical experts. Major companies including PayPal, Suzlon, and MTE Thomson are already using the platform, reportedly achieving tenfold acceleration in implementation time. The technology uses context-aware AI agents that respond to natural language prompts, while maintaining human experts for complex operations and verification. The company competes with established players like DataRobot and Dataiku but differentiates itself through its hybrid human-agent approach.
